WSP provides scholarships for engineering and environmental students, especially those studying in the following fields:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Environmental Science (Bachelor of Science)
- Environmental Science (Bachelor of Science with Honours)
Students will Able to work during the study period and job opportunities after graduation.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- NOT be in receipt of any other bursary/ scholarship award for next year
- Preference to be given to previously disadvantaged students
- Engineering students:
- Studying towards an Electrical Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering bachelors degree (BSc (Eng)/ BEng/ BIng)
- In your 2nd, 3rd or final year of study
- Studying at a recognized South African University
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 65%
- Passed all subjects for the current year of study
- Environmental Science students:
- Studying towards a Bachelor of Science/ Bachelor of Science (Honours) qualification
- In your 3rd or Honours year of study
- Studying at a recognized South African University
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 75%
- Passed all subjects for the current year of study
