Wits online Registration 2023-2024

The University of Witwatersrand, better known as Wits, has opened up their online registration for 2023. Read further for all important pre-registration and registration information for 2023 along with the necessary documentation information for registration.

The University of Witwatersrand, better known as Wits, has opened up their online registration for returning undergraduate and some postgraduate students. Reead further for all important pre-registration and registration information for 2023 along with the necessary documentation information for registration.

Online Registration for returning undergraduate students will take place between 5 January and February, depending on your Faculty and programme of study (Health Sciences opens from December 2023). The first teaching block will commence March 2023.

Online Registration for postgraduate students will take place between January and February, depending on your Faculty and programme of study (Health Sciences opens from December 2023). The first teaching block will March 2023.

Applications open on 1 May and close on 31 August 2023 for admission in 2023.

How To Register Online

Log on to Wits Student Self-Service Portal here.
Click on the Academic Information tile.
Click on Online Registration.
Click on “Next” to proceed with Online Registration.
Verify your personal details. Click on “Register Online” link.
For:
- FIXED CURRICULUM: (1) Select Courses & Slots (2) Click “Validate” (3) Click “Enrol” (4) Accept Terms & Conditions (5) Click “Submit”
- FLEXIBLE CURRICULUM: (1) Click on “Choices” (2) Select “Courses” (3) Click “Add to the Planner” (4) Click “Return” (5) Click “Validate” (6) Click “Enrol” (7) Accept Terms & Conditions (8) Click “Submit”
You are now registered.
