Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) was founded in 2004 after three technikons merged. The university merger strives to correct historical imbalances by giving access to all of our communities and a home for all of our students.

Apply for an admission at TUT
By the specified deadlines, TUT must receive an online application or a fully completed application form, as well as recently certified (not older than one year) copies of your original identity document, (National) Senior Certificate, and/or highest academic results, as well as the administration fee. You can use any of the links to complete online applications.
How to Apply at TUT
- Kindly download the electronic application form from the TUT website at www.tut.ac.za.
- You should Fill in all of the required information to the best of your ability.
- Please assemble and send all necessary needed documentation to the TUT admissions office.
- You should leave the section where the school’s headmaster will sign his name blank.
- This is needed. A receipt of your application form evidence will be processed and forwarded to the admissions department for acceptance and verification.

An application fee of R240 must be sent with your application form. This money is used to cover the costs of processing application forms and is non-refundable if your application is turned down.
