Maluti TVET College is a provider of Technical Vocational Education and Training in the Free State province of South Africa. The College came into existence on the 1st of September 2002 as a result of the merging of two former Colleges of Education and three former Technical Colleges in the Free State province of South Africa. The College focuses on ave a culture of excellence, creativity, and achievement that encourages entrepreneurship and employability in order to change people’s lives. Maluti TVET College is a multi-site institution consisting of one main campus and seven others.
The specific focus of public TVET Colleges is to address the skills shortages in South Africa; by offering relevant and responsive vocational and occupational programs.

Admission Requirements
- A year-end school report for Grade 9 or Higher
- NQF Level 1 Qualification (STD 7/Form 2/ABET 4)
- Preference will be given to Grade 11 & 12 learners
- The placement test is compulsory to enable the College to refer a learner to a suitable program
- Grade 9 or higher – preference will be given to learners with Agricultural Science as the subject.
- Learners who intend to enroll in Physical Science – an optional subject – must have pass% in both Mathematics and Physical Science as follows:
- Grade 9 – 65% (AL4)
- Grade 11 – 60 (AL3)
- Grade 10 – 50 % (AL2)
- Grade 12 – 40% (AL2)
The following subjects are compulsory for each level:
- English 1st Additional Language
- Mathematics
- Life Orientation
