ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following minimum admission criteria before applying (note that if you do not meet all the requirements, your application will not be considered):

  • South African citizens
  • Black students (African / Colored / Chinese / India)
  • Full enrollment OR currently studying or planning to study actuarial science qualifications at Matric
  • Studying or planning to study at one of the following higher education institutions: University of Cape Town, University of the Witwatersrand, University of Pretoria or Stellen Bosch University
  • Achieve the minimum grade of An in Mathematics (non-mathematical literacy)
  • Has achieved the minimum grade of B in other Matric subjects

Students must also possess the following personal attributes:

  • Always up for a challenge
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Dedicated and self-motivated
  • Good communication skills

You may be required to submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your application (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application be disregarded):

  • ID document (certified copy of)
  • Grade 11 final results, if currently in Matric
  • Matric certificate/ final results, if completed Matric or currently at University

14 June
