About NYDA-African Scholars Fund

The African Scholars Foundation opened its doors when it saw the huge demand for quality education during apartheid. Currently, they provide assistance by providing financial assistance for TVET secondary education and university education expenses to students from poor families.

The fund aims to contribute to students’ tuition, school uniforms and transportation expenses through monetary donations. ASF not only provides financial support, but also guides, motivates and trains its recipients until they complete their studies. They monitor the students’ academic progress and provide feedback, and maintain regular contact with the financial supervisor, fully focusing on the well-being of the students.
