About Mitchell’s Plain Bursary and Role Model Trust
The Mitchell Plains Model Trust Fund and Grants was established by Trevor Manuel (Trevor Manuel), who was appointed to the African National Congress in 2009 to serve the Mitchell Plains constituency. Him and the community leaders.
The Trust was established on June 16, 2011 (Youth Day) at Spine Road High School in Mitchell Plains, Cape Town. The first group of beneficiaries were 15 high school preparatory students from 2012, each of whom received a tuition fee of R10,000.
Mitchell’s General Grants and Model Trust will award scholarships in all fields of study.
