Milpark’s multidisciplinary MBA programme addresses this need with a practical orientation that provides managers, professionals and graduates with advanced management and business leadership education. The programme remains focused on key management areas while paying sound attention to the critical skills that make our students outstanding performers in the business environment. Future managers and leaders are also provided with insight and skills related to the areas of social responsibility, the environment and corporate citizenship.

Application fee

International applicants need to pay a $100 application fee and attach proof of payment.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

ENTRY ROUTE 1

Admission to the qualification is subject to academic selection criteria. The applicant must:

• have an accredited postgraduate diploma, honours degree, a four-year Bachelor’s degree (that exits at Level 8) or equivalent.
• be at least 25 years old.
• achieve an acceptable rating in either the Milpark or NMAT assessments.
• have a minimum of three to four years’ relevant work experience.
• be proficient in English. (Proof of proficiency may be required for international students.)
• be computer and Internet-literate.
• write a one-page essay motivating his/her admission onto the MBA.
• present him/herself for an interview with the Programme Manager.
• Submit a CV using the Milpark Business School template. (template available on the online admission application).

ENTRY ROUTE 2

In exceptionally limited cases, admission to the qualification may also take place via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Applicants in this category must demonstrate that they have sufficient professional experience by submitting the following information on application:

• A condensed curriculum vitae
• A biographical essay

In addition, the applicant must:

• present him/herself for a challenge exam if in the opinion of the Panel this is necessity (on the merits of past work experience).
• be 40 years old or older.
• have 15-20 years’ relevant work experience.
• be in a Senior Management or Executive position.
• achieve an acceptable rating in either the Milpark or NMAT assessments.
• write a one-page essay motivating his/her admission onto the MBA.
• present him/herself for an interview with the Programme Manager.

Note: only once all Entry Route 1 places have been finalised, can any RPL candidates be admitted onto the Qualification.

MBA AT LEVEL 9

Prospective students who have an accredited four-year Bachelor’s degree (that exits at level 8), an Honours degree, a postgraduate diploma or equivalent with at least three years’ work experience can apply for the MBA at Level 9.

Apply online

1. Register on the online system at https://www.mba.co.za/ using your email address and creating a password
2. You will then be sent an email with a link to activate you on the system.
3. Click the link to activate your registration.
4. This process will take you back to ROSS where you need to click the Admission/Other button (clicking the right button here is important)
5. You will then be allowed to enter your login and password created in step one.
6. Once you have completed your application you need to tick the button accepting the terms and conditions and submit.
7. When you have submitted you are required to pay the R100 application fee. Various options are provided by the system.
8. If you pay your application fee to the bank you need to use your application number as the reference and email the deposit slip to us.
9. Once you have completed the process above we will process the application and you are provided a student number and login
