About VUT
The Vaal University of Technology also referred to as VUT, is one of the largest residential Universities of Technology with approximately 22 000 students and 300 programs that are primarily taught in English. The campus and facilities are conducive to learning, research, recreation and sport, art and culture, and community service. There are 4 campuses at this university namely Vanderbijlpark Campus, Ekurhuleni Campus, Secunda Campus and Upington Campus. VUT University Online 2023-2024

The Vaal University of Technology Online Application for 2023 is open from 1 July to 30 November 2023. Therefore we encourage prospective students to apply online via application form (Hard-Copy) early as possible for the 2023 academic year.

Before You Apply
- You must have an NSC or NCV with an endorsement that allows entrance to degree studies (Bachelor’s degree) or an equivalent qualification.
- You meet all the minimum admission requirements for the programme you intend to study. Meeting the minimum admission requirements for your chosen/intended program of study does not guarantee admission, as limited spaces are available in each programme.
- You have a minimum level of 4 (50%) in the chosen UFS language of instruction: English or Afrikaans (only applicable to certain programmes).
- You must pass certain school subjects with a minimum level of achievement in order to take a certain university module. Please refer to the section on the faculty-specific admission requirements, which also includes the respective compulsory subjects and achievement levels required per programme.

- South African applicants will need an ID number. Foreign applicants will need their passport numbers.
- Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate)
- Note: If you are a new applicant please continue with your application, A non-refundable Administration fee of R100.00 for application, and certified copies of your identity/passport document, Senior Certificate/National Senior Certificate, Proof of Payment for Administration fee and all other relevant documents must accompany this application The Administration fee can be deposited beforehand at ABSA BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER: 530861945, Branch code: 632005

How to Apply VUT Online 2023-2024
All applications for admission must be submitted online during the prescribed application period.
- Goto the VUT Online Application Portal at – https://ienabler.vut.ac.za/pls/prodi03/w99pkg.mi_login
- Apply, Register, Change personal information, get academic and other information and make payments.
- Under the “Prospective Students” section, click the New Application link if you want to Apply, Register, Change personal information, get academic and other information and make payments.
- Do you already have a student number?, select with Yes or No.
- If you are returning to complete the application, select Yes or No
- Read the applicable terms and conditions and accept it or not.
- Next, fill in the needed Biographical details and other information.
