How to register UFS Online 2023-2024
The University of the Free State (UFS) has a proud history as one of the oldest, most respected institutions of higher education in South Africa. It opened its doors in Bloemfontein in<span “=”” 16px;”=””> 1904 as the Grey University College, with six students in the Humanities. Today it is a multi-campus institution, with two diverse campuses in Bloemfontein and one in Qwaqwa in the scenic Eastern Free State, accommodating more than 40 000 students in its seven faculties, with an increasing number of international students and associates, and an ever-widening scope of active involvement in and contribution to its surrounding communities.
The University of the Free State (UFS) has opened it’s registrations for first years for the 2023 academic year. The 2023 registration for UFS will be taking place online for first year students.
No registrations will take place on campuses and no walk-in applicants will be allowed on campus either.
Online registration and orientation for first-year students will be running from 1 to 14 February 2023.
How To Register At UFS
STEP 1: Accept your admission offer by logging into https://www.ufs.ac.za/studyoffer.
STEP 2: Log in with your student number and password on the Oracle PeopleSoft system .
STEP 3: Go to the Tasks tile on the Student Homepage within the PeopleSoft system and click on the task. Under the “Tasks” tile will be an activity that is called “Registration 2021”.
STEP 4: Follow the different activities as listed on the left side of the Student Task WorkCentre page until the task is completed. The system will allow you to log out and return later to continue with the different activities until you have completed the task.
STEP 5: Please confirm that all the modules (courses) you wished to enrol for reflect on your proof of registration. The Proof of Registration is available on the Student Centre page, but will also be emailed to you the following day after you registered.
The University of the Free State is over 115 years old and is housed at three campuses in the province, namely Bloemfontein, Qwaqwa, and South Campus.
UFS has thousands of students studying courses offered by the university’s 114 different departments.
