How to register Sol Plaatje University (SPU) Online Application Form 2023

Application to SPU for 2023 can be submitted online. To apply online at SPU, follow the procedure below:

Go to SPU Application 2023 website: https://www.spu.ac.za
At the top menu of the page, go to “Study at SPU”
Then, click on “How to Apply”
Choose your qualification level for which you want to apply
After that, click on “Apply Online” to begin your online application
Capture your biographical information to display your student number on the screen
Then you click on the SAVE button to proceed
Create a pin as a new prospective student with your student number
Use your student number and the PIN you created to access the SPU Student Online System (SOS)
Click on “Application”, then click on “View Application Rules”
Read the SPU Online Academic Application Rules, scroll down and click on the [I Accept] Button
Complete the fields with your personal details
Upload your supporting documents
Submit your completed application for evaluation

Required Supporting Documents for SPU Online Application 2023

Applicants should provide the following supporting documents for their online application

Your cellphone number and a working email address
Certified copies of academic records if applicable
An ID number or Passport number
A of your Affidavit, Matric Certificates, Academic Transcripts, Qualification(s) obtained at another University, etc.

SOL PLAATJE UNIVERSITY (SPU) ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 2023

The University has set the minimum academic requirements for admission to SPU’s study programmes in 2023. Below is a list of them:

The language of learning and teaching at SPU is English. All our academic programmes require that students will have taken English HL: NSC Level 4 OR English 1st additional language: NSC Level 5.
Note that, in calculating the APS, the additional points apply to any of the official languages taken as the HL.
The minimum requirements are based on the results that applicants achieved in the South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.
Applicants who hold certificates from a different examination system will be considered individually for admission.

Note that if you satisfy the minimum admission requirements stated here, this does not automatically mean that you will be admitted to the study programme at SPU.
