How to register MGI Online 2023-2024
Midrand Graduate Institute application process, and requirements for admission into graduate, Undergraduate Degree, Diploma Programmes, and Postgraduate for the 2023/2024 academic year. Authorities of the Midrand Graduate Institute invite applications from suitably qualified candidates who are high school leavers, non-school leavers, and graduates from recognized institutions for admission into the various Postgraduate programs offered by the institution for the 2023/2024 academic session on a full-time and Part-Time basis. Applications are humbly invited from suitably qualified candidates.
Midrand Graduate Institute was first known as Midrand Campus, later known as Midrand University. Established in 1989, it soon attained acceptance as a private university-level, degree-conferring institution – one of the first of its kind in southern Africa. It formed a partnership with CTI Education Group in 2006, with the opportunity to offer degrees at various remote campuses nationwide and conferred by Midrand.
Application Open and closing Date 2023-2024
The University of Limpopo (UL) Online Application for 2023 is open from 1 April to 30 November 2023. Therefore UL encourages prospective students to apply online via application form (Hard-Copy) early as possible for the 2023 academic year.
Entry Requirements
Matriculation Certificate (prior 2008)
- Students, who successfully completed Grade 12 before 2008, can apply for admission to the University with the normal Grade 12 Senior Certificate with full university exemption by converting their grade symbols to an APS.
National Certificate (Vocational)
- Students who have successfully completed a National Certificate Vocational NC(V) Level 4 qualification will require the following and will be subject to Faculty Admission Specifications and Placement Tests:
- NC(V) level 4 certificate with 3 fundamental subjects 60% (Life Orientation included) and 4 relevant vocational subjects at 70% for degree programmes.
- NC(V) level 4 certificate with 3 fundamental subjects 50% (Life Orientation included) and 3 compulsory vocational subjects at 60% for diploma programmes.

Postgraduate applicants can apply using the same online or hard copy application forms that are available to undergraduate applicants.
Step 2: Complete your application form in full.

Step 3: Attach all supporting documents.
Step 4: Complete a student accommodation form.
