Damelin Online application requirements 2023-2024
Damelin Admission requirements vary depending on the type of course that you’re applying for, the academic level, and your nationality. This is mainly because universities are allowed to set their entry requirements based on their own preferences or internal policies. They set the entry requirements for each course to ensure you have the right skills and knowledge to successfully complete the course.
General Admission Requirements
Here are the Damelin General Admission/Application Requirements
- You’ll need an email address to complete the application.
- South African applicants will need an ID number. Foreign applicants will need their passport numbers.
- Once you have received your student number from Damelin, you will need to pay the application fee.
- Make sure your documents are scanned according to the guidelines.
- Your admission to Damelin is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification.
- If you don’t meet these requirements, you may want to consider alternative qualifications or possibly, if you qualify, an extended program, enabling you to register for limited modules in your first year.
- Students who completed Grade 12 at the ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) School of Tomorrow may no longer be accepted at Damelin.
- Some Damelin qualifications have limited spaces available. Meeting the general and / specific admission requirements for a qualification does not guarantee that you will be offered a space for the 2023 academic year.
Damelin application requirements 2023-2024
Work through the admission requirements for each level of qualification (eg degree, diploma and higher certificate) to determine whether you will be able to apply for a lower-level qualification related to your interests. Remember to keep in mind your career vision and goals, and how any qualification will contribute to these.
DEGREE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Business Management (HEQSF Aligned)
- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Degree endorsement, or
- A National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with Degree endorsement, or
- A Senior Certificate (SC), or Amended Senior Certificate (ASC), or
- An equivalent international school-leaving certificate / foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level, or
- Age Exemption (23 years or older):
- At least five years post-secondary school experience in the field in which the student wants to study and
- Proof of English language proficiency and
- Senior Certificate or equivalent
- Mature age applicants, 45 years and older without a school leaving qualification, may apply for conditional exemption
- Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and English at NQF level 4 or equivalent
- Foreign Students whose first language is not English, may be required to provide proof of proficiency in English prior to admission to the programme
