The Motheo Technical Vocational and Education and Training College was formally founded on April 1, 2002, as part of the technical college sector’s rationalization from 152 colleges to 50 mega institutions, creating the basis of the new Technical Vocational and Education and Training Sector.
The previous Bloemfontein, Hillside View, and Thaba Nchu technical colleges, as well as the Kagisanong College of Education, were combined to become Motheo TVET College.
Motheo Tvet College Coltech is one of the campuses of Motheo Tvet College. The institution takes pride in the high quality of tuition and training provided by a dedicated group of highly skilled professionals, who are supplemented by part-time employees from the commercial and industrial sectors.
COLTECH’s mission is to create an enabling and conducive learning environment in which morally and intellectually sound professionals who are nationally competitive and internationally recognized can gain knowledge and skills in developing and managing innovative technologies for long-term socioeconomic development can gain knowledge and skills.
